Define: Self-Proving Will:

Where a will is self-proving under the law of a state, then nearly all states will allow the will’s admission into probate of uncontested wills without testimony of a witness to the will. In California, a will is self-proving if the witnesses attest, under penalty and perjury, that the will was property executed.
